Hi

It's been a while since I was last on DIC, and I was thinking about the thumb drive competition.
Now that little device looks cool, and I was thinking about how great it would be on a laptop (I am looking for a new laptop).

So I did a little research and it turns out that you can make laptop skins to put on your laptops. I tried making a DIC one to see what it looked like, and it wasn't too bad (I couldn't use it since the images aren't mine).

So what I was wondering if DIC already has something like this? If not, why? :-)

Yup.. laptop skins. They've been around... and around... and around.

Did you print said skin off or just play with it in Paint++?

Does DIC have laptop skins - not that I know if.
Why not? - because they are waiting for an enterprising young chap such as yourself to post some to the graphic design sub forum.

hehe, technically not 'that guy' but I see what you mean :-D

I just made the skin on a website, so it wasn't the best. But like I said, I couldn't actually get it to print off since I don't own the right to use those images (they are apart of a corporate identity, etc.)

It would be good if:
a) there was some laptop branding for DIC
I was allowed to use the images.

Personally, I would be really interested in having a DIC skin for my laptop. Plus I'm pretty sure that the moment I put the skin on it, the RAM and processor speed would double, my computer would develop and implement an interface for my thought waves, and my machine would become sentient.

Just sayin, a DIC skin would really improve my computer.
