Hello, as many of you have probably seen me in the C/C++ Programming Help section, I would like to learn some C# and expand my programming horizons...
I was told that Murach's C# is a good book for self teaching, but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on some good books and references...
By references I mean sites equivalent to(not including D.I.C): cplusplus.com, learncpp.com and many others.

I read the Murach's C++ 2008 and it was a great book for getting started with the C++ 2008, the .NET version. Murach is pretty strict about who writes for them and all of their books follow the same pattern, instruction on the left and code, etc on the right. I would suggest taking a look at it.

Sorry 'bout posting in the wrong section, Thanks for the move. I will look over whatever I can in Amazon for Murach. Anybody else got any good ideas for C# information?

You could also check out the C# Yellow Book. It is available in PDF format from below, legally, not pirated.

I think Murach's has some good books. I find them to be well written and informative. A couple other choices are Apress And Microsoft Press
