Dreamweaver 3.0 or 4.0

what are the differences and which do you use?

Dreamweaver 3.0 or 4.0

Well, being the geek that I am and usually trying new software out the day it is released, I've been a little slow when it comes to DreamWeaver.

So what are the differences? Similaraties? Which do you prefer?

I used to do that exact same thing (try out the verision's as soon as they come out) but 4 dreamweaver and flash I got slowly behind but Dreamweave does exacly what I need it and then some so I would say that it is an awsome HTML . . .etc. . . editor also it's okay for PHP but no the best :(

From what I have seen and heard, DW4 has a lot of the extensions (for DW3) included as commands, has serious database integration help, and comes packaged with CourseBuilder.  Yea!

DW4 is ok... Dreamweaver UltraDev4 is what you want if you want to do any serious PHP/ASP development.  if anyone wants a copy to "preview" let me know.  it's still a little buggy with somethings, but if you know what you're doing you can fix any of the glitches you may run accross...
Also, some people don't know this, but the Macromedia Exchange has TONS of extra extensions that will let you do just about everything there is to do on the web.  and it's FREE!
