Miss USA

Michigan won. Man, I am the queen of spoilers. So, do you regularly watch this? I used to when I was a kid. Used to be real classy. Now they substituted (?) the swimsuit portion with lingerie. How do you feel about this?

I'm torn between saying "don't care" and "hmm...hot women in lingerie?"...
I'm gonna have to go with "don't care".

Off-Topic: I went to school with a Miss Teen USA contestant and I kinda cared then.
On-Topic: Titties.

Ever notice that anyone who uses the word "classy" always does so ironically; either intentionally or otherwise?
Honestly, the whole voyeuristic narcissistic parade seems past is prime to the point of lampooning itself. It should have died with poodle skirts. Now an absurd amount of insincere apology seems to surround the exploitive relic. The honest voyeurs have pay channels.
Did you know WWII cheesecake cartoons are a fetish? At this point any "Beauty Pageant" feels kind of like that.

WTF?
Well, it was originated by a bathing suit company as a way of advertising I do believe, and the fact that they cut that out now kinda... cuts off its roots.

I don't see why they're giving "them" a hard time about risque photos and whatnot. 1/3 of the competition is almost naked anyway (not that I'm complaining)

Yea, well.... It used to be swimsuit, evening gown, talent, and their one wish thing in the comptetition. Not necessarily completely sexual, but now they're posing permiscuously in lingerie.
They're supposed to determine who is the prettiest, most talented, and nicest young female in the country, not produce Victoria Secrety advertisements. That should be a whole other pageant all together. Bah!

Given the obesity epidemic and the direction it's heading in, I appreciate any time I see a woman who is in good shape.
