Ivanka Trump is hot and a nice person.

Tricia Helfer is smokin' and she raises money for animal charities.

Not all hot women are narcissits. Not all narcissists are hot women.

You're saying that a fat mate can be a good person. I'm saying that they're narcissistic, and that narcissism is harmful, both physically and emotionally to their partners. Not exactly what I'd call a good person.

A fat person is more narcissistic than a beautiful person? I don't think that word means what you think it means.

A fat person thinks you should love them for what's on the "inside" with no regard for their actions, many of which are detrimental to all those around them, especially their partner. If that isn't narcissistic, then nothing is!

Sorry but I don't think I've read a more ignorant comment in a very long time. It's the skinny "I'm better than you" type of people that are the most narcissistic, and I cannot believe you don't see it. In my life I've yet to see some skinny "hot" (though "hot" is completely subjective) woman that wasn't a completely self absorbed, egotistical twat.

People who spend all the time at the gym, are ruining kids of the next generation, making them think if you're over a size 1 then you're fat. And if you don't think that's the truth then you must be one of "those people". When you judge someone solely based on outward appearance then you're just as egotistical and shallow as anyone, and if you take that as an insult then it only proves my point.

No one said skinny people can't be narcissistic too. But I've never seen a skinny stranger pressure anyone into not eating something. I have had fat strangers pressure me to eat, and I've never been "very" skinny.

In any case, the narcissism comes from thinking that it's ok to eat like a horse and expect your partner to not only accept it, but be happy about it.

Expect of me what you will, but Psycho just hit the nail on the head.

You have done nothing but prove you are a shallow excuse for a human being. I have neices and daughters who are all developing body image issues because they "have" to be "hot". If "hot" is some chick strutting about with her hip bones protruding from her flesh, I would rather be imprisoned for force-feeding my children than see them waste away to unhealthy bits of nothing.

Being fit and being thin are two very different things.

True enough, but those Miss USA girls are much closer to fit - assuming they're not - than most Americans. I'm about 5' 10" and 185lbs. I should be more like 170 lbs. When I see a woman who weighs as much as me (or more!) and who's 5 to 10 inches shorter, what should I think of her?

Well, those are taken @ 40yrs and 60yrs old, not 20, 40. Kind of proves the opposite, especially when you look at Valerie Bertinelli!

I really expected something better from you. Certainly, with over 60% of Americans being obese, I expect my opinion to be in the minority, but I would have thought there would be better arguments against it than these.

Hey asshole, 60% is good. It means 40% of us haven't been eaten by the fatties, don't count USA out of the game yet.

Eat all food groups and exercise moderately and you'll be whatever size the Good Lord wants you to be.

I really don't understand what everyone is arguing here?

I will say this for the stereotyping of fat people: If you're fat, it usually means you are less likely to make an effort to eat healthy food or exercise properly. If you can't even EAT properly and you have to do it every day, how can you do anything else properly?

Most skinny people are stuck up. Larger people tend to be either very nice or very bitchy. Just an observation.

Part of this I would have to disagree with. There are people who have thyroid issues and no matter how healthy they eat or exercise they cannot maintain a health weight. Not all people that are fat are that way because of a lifestyle issue or by choice, there are actually medical causes (and there's more than you would think) so please stop with the stereotyping that all fat people are pigs

Right, but the medical causes are an exception, they aren't the rule. And telling all fat people "you're fat but it isn't your fault" is grossly irresponsible because in almost every case it IS their fault- their weight can directly be attributed to their actions and choices and to habits which they don't make the effort to break.

I'm not saying "fat people are pigs" or "fat people are irresponsible" any more than I'm saying "skinny people are wonderful". I don't really care either way, honestly. But weight (and health in general) is an issue for everybody and (excluding those with notes from their doctors about legitimate medical conditions) we all have to deal with it on a daily basis. I'm fat, I used to be REALLY fat (320 lbs, 170 kg) and I lost a lot (~70 lbs) of that. This means I can't blame any medical condition (such as hypoglycemia) for my weight because I lost it anyway. It was my fault I was that fat, I'm still fatter than I'd like to be, and I still have to work to get the rest off, just the same as everyone else. And a big part of the reason I was fat was that, yes, I was a pig. I can blame the environment but a lot of the time I was able to make my own decisions about what I would eat and I didn't make the right ones, usually because I was lazy.
