Simple Javascript Slideshow Not Working !Urgent

Posted 20 May 2010 - 09:10 PM

My instructor assigned a simple javscript slideshow as the final assignment for our class. She gave us a code template and stated that all we need to do to get the code working with our images is to change the image srcs to the location of the images we want to use. I did this, and the code does not work. Can you guys spot any problems?

I attached the code to this post. Also, the images are located in the same folder as the .html file.

~MonicaAttached File  SlideShow.html (6.8K)
Number of downloads: 153

Where are these images loaded from? Is this page viewable on the web?

** Edit **

This code works fine for me, I changed the file names to 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg & put images into the local directory. Clicking the start button starts the image rotations. My initial guess would be that you have a syntax error in the naming of your files, such as JPG instead of jpg in the code. If it's case sensitive (& Linux/Unix Web servers are), then your images will not load.

Thanks. I got it to work by changing the names to 1.jpg, 2.jpg, and 3.jpg.
