Hide MessageBox button in C# and close message box once task complete

Posted 22 May 2010 - 11:25 AM

Hi there;

Any chance we could hide the button in the Messagebox pop up until it finised the task, the MessageBox will be close automatically without a click in c# form?

while (i != 0)
  {
    MessageBox.Show("Please wait....");
    //something is working in progress

    i--;
  }

//MessageBox should close once the above task is completed

Is that possible?

No, it's not possible.

Solution: Create a custom form and set it's FormBorderStyle to whatever value suites you best. Then just close the form once your task has finished...
