Where do you go to watch for conventions and such?

I wanna attend some of these to try and learn a bit more and see whats going on out there. I saw this on code magazine's site.

Tech Ed N. America

New Orleans is too far for me though. Where is a good place to maybe sign up for updates?

Yeah sorry about that. I guess I'm talking about Microsoft, Cisco, (really any techy conventions at all).

The companies site itself, also look for user groups in your local area. If they have sponsorship, you will more than likely see big name companies come to your area.
