Hello everyone!

I have a problem with charsets.

I'm making a russian website, so I did use;
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251">

And in db collation: cp1251_general_ci;

But I still have problem with characters;
I see "?" marks at explorer;

Please help me out.

Do you have the encoding set correctly in the browser? Have you tried to look at it in another browser? In IE try going to View >> Encoding... and select either "auto select" if it is not already or if it is selected try specifying "Unicode UTF-8" and see if either of those changes improve the situation.

Browser is OK! It seems strange to me, because on my localhost everything is okay. But when I upload my site on my host, and I aceess my site, "?" marks are everywhere.

Ok! Problem solved...

After db connection I'v inserted this -> mysql_query("SET NAMES 'cp1251'");
