Definitely going to participate in this challenge, as I've got a ton of PHP from my nonprofit web project. This weekend I'll look into it after the SAT Subjects test, and since my nonprofit project will have been uploaded for launch date, I'll have more free time.

Eh, I do PHP with everything I develop...lol...

Actually already did the signature generator and it's open source and currently the 3rd "Featured topic" on the front page! Hm...I don't really wanna invest the time into an RPG right now because I'm working on a poker game in Flash/Java, but maybe I'll work on a "simple page using HTML and PHP to display dynamic content" :)

Yours,
Shane~

I been watching the 52 weeks of code emails for a while now and I never bothered doing anything, but now, with learning php as a challenge, I can say that I am going to give it my best. And who knows, maybe this will keep my active in the rest of the 30 weeks of code.

Here's my submission for the 52 weeks of code PHP challenge:
http://tibialottery.com/cheat.php (Eh, don't bother trying to figure out what the name means, I just used this document originally to cheat at a friend's riddle and then I recycled it on my desktop but didn't rename it.)
Pretty simple idea, really. It's just a multi-language script that detects the language from the browser headers and tries to use the one your browser sends, if it doesn't have it then it uses English by default. You can also select the language you wish to use from the list of languages. Oh, it also uses sessions to remember what language you used last.

It doesn't actually translate anything, but uses an XML file to translate from.

Yours,
Shane~

PS: Also, you can set the GET name parameter to make it say a name instead of "<name>".

Here we go - it's quite simple.
It uses MySQL, PHP and jQuery.

A simple little guestbook - logs IP addresses in case of abusive behaviour.
Guestbook

Please please add some messages and tell me what you think.
Only took about 40 minutes to make.

Ahhh. I love PHP..

UPDATE!
Stopped the use of HTML or any other tags- that could have been disastrous to let people use php and html in my page - thanks to whoever did the "Link test" as it brought it to my attention.

No, it doesn't change anything. I'm using it too...

Facebook just tells you the you updated your status from another source and asks you to tell if it's ok...

Nothing gets changed...
