hey guys

i posted a job ad on here, the job does not exist anymore and i wish the ad to be taken down however i do not have edit rights on my "OWN" post.... perhaps a feature to edit ones post that's not related to a question to do with coding. i.e (editable posts in the post a job section).

Please can a moderator delete the post " Browser MMO looking for developers (PHP/MYSQL/AJAX) " in the post a job section, posted date : Posted 23 May 2010 - 06:43 AM.

I've been trying for over a week, replying to my thread to be deleted, but nothing? except the user "modi123_1" replying with "Dude.. lame. Just stop. Thread deleting hurts historical congruency. "

i do not wish my thread to be in history.. please can a mod delete the job thread i posted in post a job forum please.

We don't delete threads here in this community unless they violate some DIC Terms Of Service or some other copyright infringement law. I can close the thread so no more replies can be made, but I'm not going to delete it.

Is there anyway i can get it edit . I read the TOS that the thread technically belongs to DIC i just want the thread not there anymore.
Can you edit out all of the information in the thread?

Has the job been filled?
Did you give the job away to an insider?
Why did you post the job if you did not intend to hire anyone?

Your post is dated so I wouldn't worry about it.

The original post clearly states that the job does not exist anymore. Whether the job was filled or not really doesn't matter.
