video show on web page

Posted 04 June 2010 - 10:34 AM

Hello again,
I've got a new challenge: My managing director wants videos included on the web page. He found an example on this url
http://www.menschenf...bank/index.htm.

I've tried to insert such a video call on my web page. But I've got two problems:
1. The upload to the server took a pretty good time (volume 177 MB)
2. The double click on the new feature for video took far to much time regardless of my download rate. The reason: The whole video is first downloaded and after this the show was started.

The file type of my first adventure was ....VOB. I think I must use a different type has to be changed.

Perhaps streaming might be helpful to avoid download times for the calling user.

So at the end: I don't know what to do next, which filetype? Which software for video run?

Can You help me?

Regards
Heinrich

if url above is not successful, start with
http://www.menschenf...schen/index.htm
then select "Freunde und Partner" then
select
"Mercedes-Benz Bank"
On the bottom of this page You'll find the video...

Ok
It seems fine for me, though I am using Chrome.

Try splitting it into different parts.
Also YouTube can be helpful.
