Writing Registry Key In Visual Basic 6.0

Posted 06 June 2010 - 07:18 AM

Hi to everyone! I am just new in this forum.

Does someone know how to write a Registry Key In Visual Basic 6.0. When I was using VBScripts to create Registry Keys. I use this method:

On Error Resume Next
Dim objWsc
Set objWsc = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
objWsc.RegWrite "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Advanced\Explorer\Hidden", 0, "REG_DWORD"

Can someone please give me a method in Visual Basic 6.0 language? :D

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

You can actually use that same late binding method in vb6.0 if you so wish. However, on vista and above there are some hives that you cannot write too unless you run under the admin account...

Good Luck
