to
areaTF.setText(String.valueOf(area));

because using the old trick
"" + area
will convert to a string, but its wrong coding. I recommend using
String.valueOf()
to convert it right

they said that in Java 8 they will remove the
"" + area
so be ready.

I could not find any articles which discussed this claim about removing the + operator for String concatenation in Java 8. Would you mind sharing a link or two where I could read more?
