Help me solve the game name

OK so there is this game .... this TYPE of game... pretend you're in a room, you can type "east" "north" "south" or "west" depending on your situation. The game map is mapped out using some logical piece of code.

What type of game is that? A door game? I don't know. Maybe you do?

Sounds like the basic movement controls of old style text-based RPG's to me.

You would only call it a door game if it was on a BBS.
But I have seen games like Trade Wars on BBS's and on DOS.

Yeah just sounds like a standard text-based adventure game to me, immediately made me think of this: http://www.douglasad...nfocomjava.html (Java version so you can play in-browser)
