I'm gonna be getting the new Xbox 360 S next month when it releases in Europe and this'll be my first Xbox 360. I wanna get some really good games for it so if you could say you favourate game(s) and why, that'd be awesome!

360 ain't got no good gammmessss, ive had mine since launch, now i'm ditchin' it for pc gaming since 90% of 360 games are on pc, i recommend you do the same, and if you want i'll custom build you a pc on newegg that can run crysis maxed out for $200.

XBOX 360 has more good games than any gaming console (IMO) so I'm not quite sure what is going on about. Just about any game I can get on my PC I can also get for the 360. Games I've been enjoying are:

Splinter Cell : Conviction
HALO : ODST
Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 2

EDIT: And I'd love to see you build a computer for less than $200 that can do that

and you can leverage the items for more affordable choices, for instance I managed to build a set just over $130 that can max crysis.

Assuming your posting on this website, the HDD, CDROM/DVD, PSU, and more could be used in the new custom build.

You're going to get extremely cheap components for that cost (trust me I've been doing this a long time). Hell my video card costs more than what you have listed there. Remember, you get what you pay for

While I vastly prefer pc gaming, the notion that the 360 doesn't have good games is ridiculous.

ODST is a lot of fun - I also enjoy most of my over the shoulder (3rd person) shooters on the 360 - see Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2, etc.

Edit: Also, no parts you can get for that price are running Crysis maxed out. Disregard that claim.

I'm not here to prove myself anymore, this is flatout ridiculous, I have a pc right next to me capable of doing Crysis ultra high maxed out that was within' the $100-200 range that I'm giving to my nephew in a week.

And as for 360 games goes yeah the library is huge, I guess I got to put "In my opinion" after every post I make now. If it makes you feel happy, crap i'll edit my sig.

Grow up it's a forum, each post is molded from one's opinions, I got my view and that view is that 360's games are outdated and getting boring, don't like it I don't care. I've got PS3 also, which I agree has a small selection of games also.

There isn't a $50 GPU on the market that can run Crysis on ultra. Quit being so defensive. The OP asked for suggestions for new games, and you told him to ditch his 360.

If you're so adamant that the $200 can max out Crysis, I'd like to see the list of actual parts.

Some other games I recalled that I liked (most are at school) are Batman: Arkham Asylum and Assassin's Creed 2 (much better than the first).

Yes thanks that's sorta what I mean right here, PC games are cheaper, I haven't started gaming on PC yet, but trying Steam was pretty awesome.

-Orange Box(hours of playability)
-Forza 3(I was going to get GT5 but now that the date has been pushed...)

For the record (I may be misunderstanding you) but Forza 3 isn't available for PC, it's XBOX 360 only (GTA 5 wont be PC either)

Split/Second is supposed to be hella fun also, and a lot of people like Red Dead Redemption.

Thanks, I said I might have been misunderstanding what he said (So I covered my ass there lol). I love the Forza games, in my opinion they're the best driving ones out there (I know some say the GTA games are but I could just never get into them).

The Rainbow Six games are good also (I have all of them) and I love playing co-op with my son. I didnt think I would enjoy Halo : ODST the way I have (son got it for me for my birthday) but it's a pretty kick ass game. I would definitely say (again) that Splinter Cell : Conviction is a must own (especially if you liked any of the other Splinter Cell games, well except Double Agent, in my opinion the worst of the series)
