Best cheap hosting for portfolio site?

Posted 28 June 2010 - 05:51 PM

it seems as though there's so many options and i wonder how many reviews i read are biased. i need something simple to host a portfolio site. i have some javascript and maybe php later on. it's pretty small. some names that i keep seeing are dreamhost, 1&1, godaddy, inmotion, and hostgator but anything that is cheap and reliable is fine.

Omnis is a very good reliable host. Have been using them for years now and have never had an issue with them. I like the options they give with their Linux hosting package, very robust. They will help you set up popular packages.

If you are willing to use a free host, you could use 000webhost.com that is what i use for all of my development projects and it has been up 100% to my knowledge, its completely free and you can use a free subdomain, or a free domain name from www.co.cc or www.co.cz or just use your own domain name!
