Re: Dream.In.Code Summer of API Contest - WIN by working with the DIC API

I've started working on my app for this contest. The idea is to make a basic reader of the tutorials subforum, to be viewed even on mobile devices. Since the main dreamincode site is too complicated to be viewed properly on mobile devices, using this app, people will be able to read tutorials even if they are not at their computers :)

My app is not ready yet, but I will finish it before the deadline :)

The problem is that I'm getting loads of xml errors while parsing it. I've replaced & with & as stated in the previous posts, are there any other tricks I have to use?

Edit: i managed to fix the weird characters in the xml files by using utf8_encode()

There are some wrongly formed xml files...like this one: http://www.dreaminco...showtopic=33631

Well Heres my entry, provided I got the post in on time(by your time).

It shows your friends list, and lets you post comments to their profile. Also, if you get a comment a window will pop up showing it, and let you reply. Also shows some recent lounge topics at the botton.

[Side notes: For posting comments you should be logged onto the forum as well, if that doesn't do it you have to log into the site after the postbox redirects you there. Also, searchbox is case sensitive for now]
