As the years slip by, I see fewer and fewer programmers and IT workers enjoying what used to be the staple four square mugs of strong black coffee per day.
Where I am at the moment, only one other person in the whole company drinks coffee, and he often has only one cup a day or substitutes it with something disturbing, like a fappaccino.
Please reassure me that I'm not part of a dying breed?
Where's Joe gone?ETA: Joe is not a person.

I cannot survive the day without coffee. Some days it's straight black coffee.

The day before the required state minimal competency test for English, I was up until 3:00 AM working on my nonprofit website project. I go in the next morning and say to my English teacher as a joke, "By any chance do you have any caffeine?" She went to get me a cup of coffee, and asked me if it was okay black? It was this day that I developed a taste for coffee, and that remains my caffeine of choice for the mornings after long nights.

That too. And don't forget Mountain Dew. I don't know what I'd do without caffeine.

After surviving my first year at my uni at least half of my colleagues drank black coffee. I personally learned to drink it within the first few weeks.
Whether they enjoy it or just need it I dunno.
I do occasionally put milk in my coffee for cooling it down so I can drink it sooner rather than later.

Caffeine can strip calcium from bones, putting milk in your coffee is recommended.

I love the smell of coffee, but I've never been a drinker of it. I don't drink soda either </lame>

Oh.. coffee.. I read the title ready to rip someone for a "did you miss me?!" thread after being gone and unnoticed for x number of months.
I prefer my mountain dew, but we have a crazy number of coffee drinkers here.

You're not alone! I love drinking coffee while I'm out and about. I might have about 4-5 cups a day of nice piping hot coffee.
Tea is for pussies.
