I appreciate the hint Lemur, and that is what the font was designed for. But I think it looks nice here. Fonts can be used whenever the hell the designer thinks they look good.
EDIT: even if I agreed with your statement, a big component of the signature is the RUBBER DUCKY, and thus it is a great idea to use a "children's material" font here.
