Anyways

I have made a button in flash and i am using the geturl script to link to another page i have made..

I have 4 frames, top bottom left and right leaving the center as a "main".

The button sits in the left frame and i am trying to get it so that when i use it the page that it is linked to opens in the center frame ("main")

Problems i am having.........

I cant get the button to target the main frame it will open a new browser and display the page or stay in self frame..

This is what I have used,

getURL("bands.htm", "main")
getURL("bands.htm", main)
getURL("bands.htm", target="main")

and variants of the above still no joy....

This is getting annoying it has to be something simple it has to be, the link works but will not target the frame that I want


PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me I was plodding along quite happy with the progress i had made and have hit this and cant do anything......

hmm... have you tried the simple things?

maybe something you have overlooked perhaps?

like in your html, is the frame main or Main or MAIN
case counts

Yep tried it made sure evrything i code is lower case keep things simple that way had probs with case b4 so i just keep it all lower now lol
