Project name change in Visual Studio 2008

Posted 18 July 2010 - 12:54 PM

Ok so i created a project in visual studio 2008 but i forgot to change the name. I left it alone for a while and its name was WindowsApplication1 which is the default name. Two days ago i decided to change the name to checkers. Now when i try to open the checkers project it says that it can not be found and that it has been moved or renamed. I tried going through every single source file and text file and changing WindowsApplication1 to checkers but even when I finished that it does not allow me to open file.

I have two questions.

1. Is there any way to salvage the project.

2. If not, is there anyway to atleast salvage the code or do I have to start over completely?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Visual Basic 2008 is NOT VB6, it's VB.NET. Moved there.
