window.open with user defined size?

Posted 18 July 2010 - 04:49 PM

Is there any javascript code that I can use in "window.open" that will pop up a window of whatever the user has set as the default browser window size? (This should be the size of the browser window when they first open it)

Also, any code to go to the user's defined homepage as set up in their browsers preferences?

I gather going to the homepage has something to do with about:home, but I can't get it to work.

onclick="window.open.location=about:home;"

???

I can't find anything about getting the default window size. Would you be willing to help me out and write one word back? Which function to use here?
