I just want to ask which plugin or framework or which tool can be used to generate reports in PHP with database of MySql?
I saw a num of report maker and tools but they all are costly and i m not finding terms and condition to purchase it .... i mean after purchasing it .... will it be usable for a number of projects or it is for a single one... i am very confused wht to do.?

Most of those questions are questions you need to be asking the vendor selling the product, we here probably have zero idea how their licensing schemes work. You're going to have to talk with the customer service of the components you're looking to purchase, and ask them all these questions.

If you cannot find a customer support to speak with then you should start getting a bad feeling in the pit of your gut as far as the company and their products they're trying to sell you.

but can u tell me the way to generate effective reports in PHP... backend used is MYSQL.

were also having an issue on generating a report in php at school. one of our solution is converting the result from mysql to pdf file..

PHP is a scripting language. That means that you can use it to write a program to do all the reporting you want, if you know how and you have the time/money to do it. If you buy something already written and possibly in another language then you need to talk to the company you buy it from. We can't help you with that.

If you aren't looking to write the code yourself then you're in the wrong place. This forum is for people who need help with writing php code.
