How to attach a file and send to server through browser?

Posted 24 July 2010 - 05:33 PM

Hi All,

I saw some plugin through the google:
1. http://www.uploadify.com/
2. http://valums.com/ajax-upload/
Which related with upload file.

I a bit confuse on What different between Applet and Plugin?
How the file can send from the client PC to the server?

Can Anyone help me clarify this?

By the way, do DIC have the sample source for this?
If no let me do it for the new one here... Cheer

AJAX and JQuery are Javascript...not Java

Java != Javascript.

Moved to the appropriate forum.

It's either here of jQuery those are the appropriate forums for a Javascript/AJAX/jQuery question.

As for your question, an applet is something created in Java, read here, what you're looking at are jQuery plugins, added functionality based on the jQuery library.
