Posted 31 July 2010 - 08:32 PM

In the form1 window theres a Transparent Colour picker and I pick the colour green to make the form1.background colour invisible but when I do the same thing to the label the label has the ugly glow effect of the transparent colour, doses anyone know how to get rid of that?

How can you choose the color green to make it transparent? This makes no sense.

What do you mean by 'ugly glow effect'? Post a screenshot.

If you set the TransparencyKey property in the form. Every part that matches the color of TransparencyKey will be transparent at runtime.

Generally, you can't avoid the small amount of 'glow' around your text. Those are the minor remains of the color that is set to be the TransparencyKey.
