I have made this mockup of a site redesign for my site (link). This is nothing final, it still needs quite a bit of polish and what not, but I would like to hear some comments about what this looks like and what is good/bad.

Are the colors pleasant? Is the structure/layout okey? Is header good looking? and similar...

It would be far more useful to have a full sized image.

As of now I'll hold off because I can't fully make out some of the details that would be crucial in reviewing the design itself because of the scaled down image.

Banner isn't bad but using outer glow should be avoided when it becomes overly noticeable. I believe I spy a lens flare or two in there, also something that you really don't need to use much of ever.

Navigation, the font needs to be simple, not decorative. Decorative fonts should only be used for titles and headers. A simple font is far more effective for navigation and cuts the time needed to find links.

Grid system is decent so far but the oddly shaped bottoms are bugging me, they serve no real point to the site and don't match up with the rest of the design. If you decide to use round corners anywhere on site you need to keep it consistent.
