So hey, [singing]it's the most, wonderful time, OOOOOFFFF THEEEE YEEEAAAR[/singing] thats right ladies and gentlement, last night kicked off the start of the NFL season in grand style. Many of you know of my love of the pittsburgh steelers, and it was a great way to get pumped for the coming 21 weeks of sunday-monday (with an occasional thursday and saturday) bliss!

so, historically everytime i talk about football everyone gets all 'waah waah sports are dumb lets talk about computer chips and ones and zeros', well fuck off, we have a growing membership which i hear may have some dudes in it now. so, this thread is for continuing football coversation as well as weekly picks!

not counting last nights game (which i would have picked the steelers as i can and will every week) here at my picks for this coming weekend!

I like in Rush City, Minnesota. (Which is only 8 miles away from the WI border) Minnetonka is a southern (I think?!) suberb of Minneapolis...

But yeah, my Grandmother is from Chicago area, Mother and Grandfather are from WI, I was born here in MN but I refuse to root for a bunch of men prancing around in purple. I was raised to be a WI/IL fan I guess...

you qb plays for miami, he played last night and threw two interceptions and missed a ton of third down conversions just throwing straight up bad passes. however he still got lucky a few times and ended up with over 200 passing yards on a few big plays, but overall he was not very impressive, just better than what miami has had.
