List serial com ports of a computer

Hello,

In the device manager you can view how many serial com ports are there for that computer.
Is there a way to list serial com ports of a computer using java ?

Could someone suggest a way to do this.

The Java Communications API looks like your best bet.

yes, using Java Communications API calling static method getPortIdentifiers in CommPortIdentifier.
