I can remember a number of days where I will get up to go to the restroom it piss at 4PM and realize that it's the first time I had pissed since 7AM that morning.

Wow. That's a bit sick, honestly. I made it into a habit to always stand up and walk every 40 minutes for 10 minutes. Feels good man.

Every 40 minutes?? How do you ever get anything done? Once I get into a groove I'm not going to break it by standing up just because it's been 40 minutes.

First off - who is Zed Shaw and why the hell should I care about his not-so-doctor'ie-blog posts?

Second Regular workouts don't decrease death risk if you're also a couch potato

I take it you didn't read the Zed Shaw blog post? It wasn't about staying alive. It was about keeping you healthy because our occupation puts us infront of a PC for a majority of the day. Things like wrist problems, eye strain problems, back problems from poor posture from sitting all day.

I've actually started doing those wrist exercises since my wrists and forearm has been killing me over the past year. Figure it's carpel tunnel setting in.
