Thanks to the folks at CodeAnthem.com, we have 100 invites to their beta just for Dream.In.Code members. CodeAnthem is a site to test your programming skills. They challenge you to "prove" your knowledge and give you a score accordingly to show to potential employers.

Hmm. Well, the C# test doesn't include the LINQ libraries, so a valid answer that uses them will be counted wrong.

Yeah I didnt notice that until I took the test, and I couldn't figure out why they gave me a 2/10 score

My thoughts on the Code Anthem as it stands currently.

According to their guidelines anything in 1.6 is valid. But I also have lingering suspicions, it did not care for my HashMap usage.

You guy's scores make me feel less stupid with my 3/10. It's a neat idea, but in its current implementation it's just not good enough.

Well, at least I got "Write a program that reverses a string." problem correct, so pro.

I don't like the idea that each programming test only contains mathematical or retarded string handling problems which have nothing to do with the actual software development which includes datatables and stuff.

Yeah I got 2/10 as well, just coming out of uni I've seen the majority of those problems more times than I care to even count, also used a LInQ library so that's why I did so bad on one of them.

The first time I saw the score (2/10, did the problems in Java) was like "Huh?!? I know I did all well, what went wrong?". The problems were very simple... but I think some packages weren't included...
