Yes, this means you can get yourself a free F# IDE. I've noticed a lot of .NET people here who pointed out that they wouldn't use F# because it lacked a free IDE. Looks like the problem is solved.

There just isn't much to say. As Scala is to the JVM, F# is to the .NET platform. It's seriously pretty much just OCaml for the CLR. It's a lot more interesting, since being on the CLR, it has access to .NET libraries. The problem is that I don't really know a lot about OCaml, so I can't do much hyping.
