Just wanted to know user Zer[o] (zero) joined has not submitted any tutorials or code snippets has very few posts but yet he is ranked 'Author'? how? That is not how the rules work at DIC i beleive?

To get the author badge, you have to submit 4 tutorials or snippets methinks. Nobody said anything about getting approved. I only had 3 approved, but I had submitted 4 (1 got turned down as they thought I copied or something, which isn't true >_>) and was promoted to an author.

Glitch in the Cron job that auto-promotes. If they aren't approved, we'll move him back to a regular member. I'll adjust the cron so it doesn't happen in the future.

Zero posted tutorials in the non tutorial section which subsequently got moved to the proper area. I'm not sure if they were made "invisible" prior to being moved. If they weren't then as soon as they were moved, they got credited to his kudos score. Thus, the Author's badge.

They were set invisible before the move.
