I myself am using Windows 7 currently.
It has it's good and bad. (I like the advanced task manager.)
Btw, I also have a question for anyone who knows the answer.
Why'd they rename x32 to x86 for windows 7?
Thank you for the answer.

Linux, exclusively for now. No Windoze installed on this laptop. When I get around to ordering parts to build a desktop, I'll dump Windoze 7 on it (My school offers a student discount, hooray) and dual boot that and Linux.
The Wikipedia article on x86 explains that x86 is "a family of instruction set architectures based on the Intel 8086"

XP right now (I've been using it for more than 5 years already, never disappointed me). But soon I'm gonna install Windows 7.

I`m using XP at my home PC right now but plan to move on to Windows 7. Even that Windows 7 can be rly annoying with all the questions throwing at the user and running almost everything with admin right. It`s nice to use it but a pain in the a$$ to write programs for it.

At work, it's WinXP Pro. At home, it's Win Vista 64 bit. I want Win7 for my home computer.

Generally I use Mac OS X 10.6 as my main computer. For work I develop on Windows XP 32-bit for Windows and OpenSUSE 11.2 64-bit.

Most of my machines are linux, but I do have a dual Win7/Windows Server box. I also run various other OSs as VMs on the linux machines.

Depends where I'm at at any given moment. My home computer I design with is running Win7 (mainly because I don't have 2-3k to drop on a higher end mac), my laptop is OpenBSD/Win7. My laptop is probably going to be a test out for new OS's after I get a new one seeing as it's getting close to 3 years old and can't handle much mobile design (which kills me.)
