How do I make my form transparent but controls visible?

Form Transparent But Controls Visible?

Ok i've searched and searched and searched yesterday till 2am and today when I woke up now my problem is this, When I make my form Opacity 0% everything disappears including controls that I know will happen im not dumb ok so I tried another method using Transparency Key I had success BUT my problem there is that when I have a picture box and an image IN the picture box around the image is the Form Background color so lets say I picked Maroon for Form1.BackColor, The edges of my image is Maroon example is below I have no idea how to fix this. Can someone please help me on fixing this problem or at least show me another possible method I could use Thnx help is much appreciated.

why you change your opacity?
you can hide your form.
easily
form.hide()

-_- thats not even topic related did you even read what I said? Im assuming not, I dont need to hide my form read what I said understand it then post back. Useful information people useful information please.

While I'll admit I've not done a lot with using the transparency key, I will say that the border around your image would appear to me to be a different color than your transparency key. One way to check this is to disable the key color and let the form show and then capture the screen and paste the image into a paint program and use the color picker tool to check and see if there is a difference between the form background and the color around the image.

Well the boarder isnt from the image it self its from the Form1.BackColor my From1.BackColor is Maroon and My Transparency Key color is also Maroon and when I Debug it forms a border like that around my image weather its in the picture box or weather its Form1's background image, I dont know why i does that which is why i ended up here lol

OK, I just played around with it. It appears that when I did mine, some of the border had transparency in the image. So I (in photoshop) did a sharpen edges until I saw the transparent pixels darken and then saved as .PNG which kept the background transparent and no more border the same color as the form.

This will work fine

Me.FormBorderStyle = Windows.Forms.FormBorderStyle.None :rockon:
