I need some help with a car game i'm making.

1. How do i make the cars move when i press a button?

2. How do i make the cars bump into each other instead of just driving over each other?

3. How do i make a person sit besides the driver so he can shoot, so there is one player who is controlling the car and one controlling the cannon?

4. How do i make something happen when a car gets hit?

5. How do i make AI (So the computer can controll one of the cars)?

Wow, i really need some help, i use Flash MX, and as you can see i'm pretty newbie. If you can help me with just one of the questions it would be great :)

it dosnt a few scripts to do so..

Kind of off topic: Flash MX has some very cool features for key interaction that flash 5 didn't have. I have been playing around with them for a few days and am impressed.

I've been mired with teaching myself PHP/mySQL so I haven't had much time to dive into MX. What kind of improvements have they made on key interaction? Tell me you don't still have to use enterFrame clip events or an Ack engine for continuos key actions. That would be so nice. :biggrin:

No you no longer have to do that, that have added action listener like any good OO programming langage should. They offer a lot of improvements over clipEvents, and they are a lot easier to work with.
