No - You're not going to stop that illegally downloaded application from calling back over the internet to see if it is registered.

Or stop it from checking the current date to see if the demo has expired.

The person who wrote whatever application you're trying to interfere with had a reason for doing whatever they are trying to do. If you stopped it from doing what it was intended to do it might just break the entire thing. Or hang waiting for that action to complete... etc.

no, thats not what it is, its a application that has a glitch in it, that will open a webpage, the 3 seconds later close it, and its extremly annoying, so i was looking for a oppertunity to expand my knowledge of c#, and keep my sanity
o and P.S the application is completley open source, i just dont want to download all the files from source forge

I didn't mean for that to sound like an accusation. It wasn't meant as an example of *why* you wouldn't want to be able to just override the behavior of another program.

I'm afraid you're going to have to, to then bypass that part of the code, which to me sounds a LOT easier than trying to code something to manipulate another application at runtime..

If it's open source, try to become a contributor and fix it for them.
