I need to automatically convert Word documents into PDF files using .Net 2008. I scoured the Internet with no joy, any help will be most appreciated.

Well, Just a suggestion, but you could get a standalone word -> pdf converter with a command line GUI, and then use the

Shell("")
command to do the conversion...This could help...

At work we're using this one:

Runs decent, converting almost anything to PDF, with verry little quality loss.
It is supposed to be run on a server however.
(Most of this kind of software has narrow system and/or licence requirements.)
JackEagles reference seems to be an interesting read also.
