This isn't a new thing by any means. Probably new to Go, but there are existing sites that provide capabilities like this for other languages:

codepad.org was the first one I saw. I know the guy who wrote tryhaskell which was based on tryruby, and I'm the majority author of tryclojure. I love those sites.
