Making Tree Child Nodes Invisible or Disable

Posted 21 September 2010 - 03:37 AM

Please i have a treeview control on a form which i have populated it with child nodes.I am using this tree child nodes as menu items and now i am assigning user permissions to users of the system. The problem is there is no visible or enable property for the child nodes except the entire tree itself but i want to be able to set some child nodes visible and not visible.
Please help me

 MainMDIParent.MenuTreeView.Nodes.Item(1).visible=false

this code is not working because it seems it has no visible property.

Can you just base the nodes on the user permission and add/remove them depending on the permission level?

Another options is to check the permission level and disable the ability to expand that node.

There's an example here
