If you are a VB.NET developer and want to create applications for Windows Phone 7, then there are good news for you. The VB.NET developer tools for Windows Phone 7 (in CTP stage - Community Technology Preview) are now available for download.

If you are a developer, and want to create applications for Windows Phone 7, then there is bad news for you. Windows Phone 7 doesn't do HTML5.

And how exactly is the application development process tied to HTML5 when in its core, it is based on Silverlight and XNA? I am talking about applications here, not web sites.

Good, now I can port some of my old VB.NET apps to Windows Phone 7. :)
