Hi shad0wk1, welcome to <Dream.in.Code> I'm Alex6788, I'm learning C++ so i could be of some help to you in the future.

Here are some links i give to C++ beginners.

  • Dream in code of course, there are some good C++ tutorials here.
  • http://www.cplusplus.com/ That's where i learned some good stuff about file I/O when i first started
  • http://cprogramming.com/ This site has c and c++ stuff so make sure what you're looking at is c++
  • Beginning C++ Game Programming by Michael Dawson A book that i like that talks about and teaches the basics like classes and stuff
  • http://www.adrianxw..../Consoles4.html This is a good tutorial on making simple console app GUIs but it's pretty complex for a beginner so you should go back to that after you've learned more.

  • Somethings you should know. If you post code you should post them in code tags like this :code:
and if someone helps you with a problem you should click the green plus button in the bottom right hand corner of their post.

Hope those links help and welcome aboard.

Oops!! Sorry Alex, mistakenly hit the red button. Wanted to hit green button for this wonderful collection of programming site. Sorry. :-(. Don't know the way to remove it. Can you suggest any?
