I don't want to talk about it. Talking about it makes me pissy. And when I get pissy I want to eat. And when I eat, my ass gets bigger. And my ass getting bigger makes me pissy. Yeah, I don't want to talk about it.

Having a big ass isn't necessarily a bad thing. My girlfriend has a big ass and I LOVE it! (Yes, I worship the booty)

I don't like having a big ass. And I'm getting too old to care how the gentlemen feel about it. I've reached a point where if you don't like me for my *sparkling* personality, then fuck you.

?

Ah, I suppose I've improved a good deal since my last post:

Bench 200 lbs
Squat 300 lbs

Time Trials
600M 1:22
300M 36

Do note I only had 15 minutes after that 600 to do the 300. On good pace for the year it looks like.

Good place to start for beginners: http://www.bodybuild...rs-training.htm

For those looking for something a bit more advanced (this is my favorite routine): http://www.bodybuild...un/triphase.htm

So after a 10 year hiatus from the gym, and per doctor's orders, I'll be heading back to the gym starting this week. Have to do cardio and some mild weight training on my back, and though it sounds girly, I'm going to look into Pilates or Yoga for core strengthening since I can't do a whole lot cause of my back. That's the main focus though, getting my back strong again. Hate being injured, even 6 months after the sccident.

Oh, and I'm gonna see how this TRX thing is. It's the workout Drew Brees does.

Why does Yoga and Pilates sound girlie? Fuck you guys thinking "guy excercises" are all weights! Yoga works on everything and Pilates will rape your core! Trust me, I did Pilates for a week (taught by some Arnold Swartzenegger-looking Colonel) and my ass and abs killed for a month. That ain't easy, and there are LOTS of guys who do it. Your pre-defined gender roles at the gym make me sad. Like I said, I'm getting ready to start p90x, and there is a ton of Yoga and excercises similar to Pilates in it, and this is "big, burly, manly workouts that a lot of the military preaches by". Quit it, Josh. I remember a while back you said if you go back to the gym, you're going to do "manly stuff, like lifting weights. Cardio is for girls". That pissed me off for real.

Real men do weights. Sissy girly men get strapped to a wooden table and split themselves with rubber bands tied to their ankles.

Correction: real men don't go to the gym at all. They head out to the bar next door to the gym and drink beer and watch sports because they realize we all have an allotted amount of time on this earth and wasting it by hurting yourself and sweating like a pig in spandex is a poor use of that valuable time.

Craig, are you not familiar with treadmills?

All the ladies hit the treadmills. You can figure out the rest on your own.

Sergio Tapia, I'll strap you to a wooden table, & tie more than just your ankles together.

no2pencil, are you not familiar with waitresses and drunk chicks?

All the bars have waitresses and drunk chicks. You can figure out the rest on your own.
