Ok, so I am new to this site and I love it. I am trying to learn my first programming language and doing well with Python. I like the simplicity of it and when I get comfortable with it I will move up to C++. I have made plenty of basic programs with Python but now I have run into a snag.
Tkinter is nice and all, but I want to use the GTK+ module for the UI. I have read the directions for integrating GTK+ with Windows, but when I try to import it (using the interactive Python shell or just a plain script), it tells me that it cannot locate the GTK+. I must be missing something, but I have no idea. Can someone help me to make sure I have completed all the steps to integrate it in Windows XP?

You'll need to install GTK+ libraries. You can find them here: http://www.gtk.org/d...ad-windows.html

I know you say you want to use GTK+, but if you wanted to try something different, Tkinter is always an option.

I understand all that, and I have downloaded them all. What I don't know is what I need to do next with them.

Thanks all! I will try this out.
Also, when I get time, I will get on the IRC channel for it. Thanks again.
