Log on to YouTube and search CSS videos

Go to your favorite web site
Down load their source code and .css file
Recreate their site the best you can from scratch!

Make a site with 5 divs and see what you can do with them.

PLAY!!!!!

We do this for fun cuz we like it right?

I learnt CSS by downloading one of those free website templates and messing around with it. Nothing beats practical learning ;)

Sorry if it has already been suggested to you, but check out the tutorials on http://www.w3schools...ss/default.asp.

Pay particular attention to the Box Model, Margin, Padding, Positioning and the Float tutorials.

To test yourself, I would create a blank template with a header, left sidebar, middle content, right sidebar and footer. Try and implement that layout and style it as you go.

Try a simple project to start with, My first one was for a college assignment which was for a video rental store, Try something along the lines of that in terms of a project. Or a website for yourself, for example a blog or an online store.

Perhaps something less boring, but hey, I don't pick my assignments ^^.

Hmm , thanks for the reply , appreciate it.
But the problem is i've developed zillions of layouts (2column/3column..etc)But nothing can beat real time projects/websites.

So I'd like a real one, where all the guidelines are told,instructions,etc-etc.

TIA

Yes, this is an excellent website to get started in learning CSS.An
Another website to check out would be: http://html.net/tutorials/css/
