New equipment for the Dream.In.Code Podcast

Thanks to skyhawk133, today I've got new equipment ordered for the Dream.In.Code podcast that should make the sound quality better - in the office and on the go.

For the podcasts that I make by my PC, there will be a brand new podcasting microphone:

Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone

There is also a new portable recorder, since some podcasts will be recorded on the go or at events, where there isn't always an opportunity to take the laptop out and plug in the big microphone. So here is what will be used for this:

Zoom H2 Handy Portable Stereo Recorder

This year (actually at the end of October), I will be attending Microsoft PDC in Redmond, WA as a Microsoft Student Insider, so I will try to record some episodes directly at the conference.

New episodes coming to iTunes and you can actually subscribe to our podcast feed.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 5

What?!?! No satellite truck streaming HD "Breaking DIC news" content? PBS can do it, why not you guys? I am so disappointed in your Skyhawk. I have always come to expect much better than this. Just kidding.

Looks sweet. Do we even know if any other coding forums do on location podcasting and expert interviews? I think DIC is the only one and I guess that is why this forum r0x!

:)

Always pushing the envelope, very nice. I'd be interested in knowing how well it captures higher frequencies seeing how it employs three condensers

Yep! Core has been rockin' it for a couple months now. Getting better every time. He could use any suggestions/ideas/questions you want answered on the podcast, so feel free to share.
