A little off topic.
Just wondering if anyone uses a GoDaddy Code Signing Certificate and its acceptance on various Operating systems. From what i have read it seems that only pre-XP OSs are an issue if the roots are not up to date.
With that, Just looking for a "Yea I use it no issues" godaddy still has a little negative (generic) feel for me, mostly because the price is insane low compared to others.
Also, if you have a suggestion for another provider let me know.
Many Thanks!

Moved to C# Programmers Computer Support & Operating Systems
EDIT: On second thought, this has nothing whatsoever to do with C#.

Doesn't have anything to do with Computer support either. Moved to the Corner Cubicle (could go in Software Development too, but this is a good discussion topic)

It had nothing do with C#. They'll get anal until everyone learns how to post properly. Learn how to do it.
EDIT: I should probably add something to help the topic. I use GoDaddy and have for awhile. I used to use Yahoos Small Business stuff then went to GoDaddy and havent had any issues with them in the 2 years Ive been with them.

See seth, they passes it around, because one person did not like the area, instead of letting the community decide. The funny thing is THEY did not know where to post it, and they run the damn place.
It was somewhat, and very close to relevant, it would have been fine there, it ended up here, because no one was sure where it went. Where it was, would have been fine, but we will never know because the community did not get a chance to decide, someone controlled it.
I was posting to UseNet (you can google that word if you need to), when you were 3 years old
. That was knowing how to post, but you will never experience that. I started my first software company, when you were 4.
In Usenet you just got called out by the community if you were a problem. But, you have never seen that, so I understand if you don't get what Im saying, this is the only internet you know.
But thank you for your actual answer, it was helpful.

No, this question is TOTALLY unrelated to C#, therefore it WAS in the wrong spot. How the hell can you argue it belonged in C#?

What actually happened is your topic was reported by an active member of the C# forum (read: the community) and moved from a very small forum with very few eyes (a link was left), to an admittedly incorrect forum, then I moved it to a forum that is very general and has the most professionals viewing it. The community actually DID play a role in moving this topic as it was reported by a community member and a moderator took care of the move. In this particular case, a moderator thought you were talking about SSL certificates and moved it to the computer support forum.
Many of our non-moderator members can move topics, so the community can very well participate in moving, organizing, editing, and fixing topics.
I shared your topic on our Twitter and Facebook feeds because I found it interesting and I wanted it in our Corner Cubicle because I thought it would be an interesting topic for everyone (non language specific). Our audience here is predominantly younger developers, so while I'm not completely surprised nobody has responded, I am a bit disappointed that nobody had any information for you. I'm a web guy myself, so I don't have much to add, and although I'm aware of code signing, I'm not familiar with it enough to help you
When you wanna talk BBSs, let me know. Yup, totally went there.

If I many get back on topic a bit, I was wondering if you ever went ahead and implemented it? If so how is it going so far for you?
