Good people in this place so far.

Once a question I've posted is answered, how do I let everyone else know that, so people don't waste their time going through my thread when its already finished?

Do the colors the topic icons are have anything to do with that (if not, what?)?

Also, how does my reputation go up or down?

They'll figure it out If people didn't want to waste their time they wouldn't constnatly open the same topics over & over... like asking why mysql_fetch_array() posted that the 1st argument is a required resource.

The actual answer is you don't. You can edit the topic, & mark the title *solved* but I believe that there is a time limit to how long until you can't edit your topic.

Really, don't worry about it

Your rep goes up if someone clicks the button at the bottom of one of your posts. Your rep goes down if someone clicks the button at the bottom of one of your posts, the minus button is for if someone gave out bad advice, being rude, spamming, etc.
