Hi, I am currently a CS student focusing on software development. I am taking a required career research course, and I have to do an informational interview with someone currently working in software development. If anyone who fits this criteria would be willing to take 20-30 minutes (possibly less) and answer some questions for me, I would greatly appreciate it. It would not only help me for my class, but I'm sure I will benefit a lot from it as well.
I am new to this forum, and haven't contributed anything yet (mostly because I probably can't at the level I am at), but if someone is willing to give me a chance, I will make sure to be a contributor in the future when I have more knowledge to share.
Please message me if you would be able to help me out with this. Maybe you can leave me a good phone number and convenient time window for me to call you.
Thank you all very much.

Think I'll move this to Corner Cubicle. You might have more success there.

I think this is a great idea. If you wouldn't mind, can you ask the people that you interview if you can post a transcript of the interview. I am really interested in seeing this!
