What English word is nine letters long, and can remain an English word at each step as you remove one letter at a time, right down to a single letter. List the letter you remove each time and the words that result at each step.
maybe not, I've heard that question several times in my life... long before google came out.
First time I heard it was in that 'special class cause your family is weird/special' in 3rd grade. You know the one, where you eat cookies, play black jack, and do weird puzzles and riddles. There was 4 of us in that room, and 2 of us got it (took a little while to figure it out, but we got it). Keep in mind this was 1991 for me, so yeah, no google.

@gabehabe - what have you done in these parts to receive this type of consideration? All I've heard about you in the 2 months I've been here is how... ermmm... I don't know. It's like this group contempt. Not hate, it's more jolly then that. But it's not like or consideration. It's contempt, that's the best word I can come up for it.
So what's with that? Cause I seriously have not seen any of these characteristics people seem to insinuate you have and/or lack.
Sorry I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt. If I didn't I'd probably go crazy and slaughter every new person I met in fear they were heartless bumbling fools too stupid to take the time to do anything but breathe solely for their own benefit.
